Responsibility includes preparing estimates and bid documents for
construction, tank installation and environmental services for clients
and customers. Contacting clients, customers, vendors and government
representatives on a daily basis to discuss items relevant to the
proposed work. Performs site visits and attends bid walks and pre- bid
conferences. Obtains prices from vendors and subcontractors for
materials, equipment and services. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word,

Environmental Scientist 1
Responsibilities to include but not limited to performing forms
field inspections and studies of sites proposed for investigation
including topography, sensitive environmental receptors and exposed
geological formations that may have a bearing on the proposed
investigation. Collects and interprets field data. Reviews hydrogeologic
interpretations with a senior scientist. Acts as a full time inspector
of hydrogeological site investigations including the supervision of
technicians, drill crews, or excavation crews. Performs geological
literature and regulatory file searches. Makes preliminary geologic and
regulatory evaluations based on such file searches. Evaluates laboratory
and boring data and samples, plots soil and rock profiles and prepares
data for the inclusion in reports. Identifies and characterizes geologic
formations encountered during drilling programs or excavations. Composes
hydrogeological reports including any required recommendations on some
routine projects for the approval of a senior scientist. Develops the
scope of subsurface investigations, geological assessment and other
special field or laboratory tests needed to assess the physical and
chemical properties of soil and rock formations, and other pertinent
hydrogeologic conditions. Develops scope of work to identify extent of
contamination. Prepares the required written and administrative reports
of the company (i.e., time sheets, expense reports, job costing, and
invoices) on a regular basis for managers approval. Provides project
management for on-going monitoring and sampling sites. Sets up projects
including all required administrative paperwork.

Environmental Scientist 2 - All Levels
Responsibilities to include but limited to Performing routine and
complex field inspections and studies of sites proposed for
investigation including topography, sensitive environmental receptors

proposed investigation. Provides technical supervision on the collection
and interpretation of field data. Coordinates the full time inspection
of geotechnical and hydrogeological site investigations including the
supervision of technicians, Environmental Scientist I, drill crews, tank
removals and/or the study of pertinent geological data and applicable
surface formations. Performs geological literature searches and routine
and complex analyses. Evaluate the impact on geological formations
involved in the excavation of tanks and subsurface investigations.
Evaluates both routine and complex laboratory and boring data and
samples, generates geologic profile rock profiles and prepares data for
the inclusion in reports. Composes routine and complex hydrogeological
reports based on approved workplans including any required
recommendations on some routine projects for the approval of a senior
scientist. Prepares proposals on routine and complex projects.
Supervises the development of the scope of subsurface investigations,
geological assessments and other special field or laboratory tests.
Assesses the physical and chemical properties of soil and rock
formations and other pertinent hydrogeologic conditions. Updates job
costing and ensures profitability goals are met. Prepares invoices for
senior review in a timely manner. 3- 7 Years experience.
